General information:  1992 Issues
This new series of notes features a common front design, though depicted in different colors on each denomination, including the new 50 dollar note.
The backs pay homage to some of the larger of the 15 major islands that make up the country. The addition of a watermark and solid security thread makes these notes better protected against counterfeiting than the first series.
