General Information: 1993 Issues
The three low-value banknotes are denominated in ТЫЙЫН (tyjyn).
The following prefi denominators represent Kyrgyz provinces, though all circulated throughout the country: CH (Chui), DA (Djalal-Abad), IK (Issyk-Kul), NR (Naryn), OH (Osh), and TS (Talass).
The initial printing of notes use the prefi denominator BH (Bishkek, the capital) for replacement notes, and the last printing of notes bear the denominator KT (Kyrgyz tyjyn, the currency).
All are available with both watermark varieties.
