The 5 through 100 rupee notes are like the preceding issues, but with a revised Urdu inscription on the back (below the banks name) which can be translated as “Earning legal livelihood is equal to prayer".

The 5 through 100 rupee notes are available with two different Urdu inscriptions on back.
The original inscription (left) appears on notes issued in 1982, whereas the revised inscription (right) appears on notes issued in 1984 and after.
