National Bank of Kampuchea (NBK)
From 1975 to 1979, Cambodia was without a banking system because Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge regime instituted an “agrarian moneyless society” in which currency was abolished.

1975 Issues : These notes were printed in the winter of 1974-1975 and were briefly issued intermittently as the Khmer Rouge vacillated on the decision to abolish all currency.
